The European Union seeks to play more constructive and effective role in the peace process between Palestine and Israel but the EU's ability to play such a role is still questioned, controversial and puzzling due to some constrains. This book intends and aims to identify the mechanisms and instruments of the EU's involvement in the peace process between Palestine and Israel and to analyze how these mechanisms and instruments could affect the peace process and the EU's role. It also intends to show how these instruments have been used within the context of European Union's policy towards the Palestinian-Israeli peace process.
