This book analyzes shifts in the global economic architecture since the 2008 global financial crisis (GFC). While the influence of policy actors from the leading wealthy countries of the Group of Seven (G7) has declined, that of the actors from emerging states and some non-governmental policy actors has increased. The book focuses on the consequences of this rebalancing of political authority for international relations and the global economic architecture. The work also considers whether key policy actors have adjusted to the new circumstances of the post-crisis environment.
