Anotace knihy

This research investigated the relationship between transformational leadership style of principals and job satisfaction of teachers in the Secondary Schools in the State of Perak. There are six independent variables in this research which includes Vision Building, Model Appropriate Behaviour, Foster Acceptance of Group Goals, Provide Individualized Support, Provide Intellectual Stimulation and Hold High Performance Expectation. The result shows that all the IVs are positively correlated with teacher's job satisfaction. However, regression analysis result shows that there are only 3 IV's showing high variance in explaining teacher's job satisfaction. Finally, the researcher recommended that school principals and Ministry of Educations should take into consideration of how their leadership styles can influence teacher's job satisfaction and encourage innovative and creativity among the teachers by having more transformational leaders.
